Gangs can lead to a life in prison or a life 6 feet in the ground. Being in a gang and expecting your "Friends" to back you up when you get shot at or get arrested is a waste of time because they move on if you die or if you go to jail. They wont care if you die. They give you a false sense of security and protection that you will lose if you get arrested. i would advise you to not join gangs because they will lead you down the wrong path.
